INTRODUCTION:

Started in the year 1981, under the eminent leadership of Late Dr. Juliet D’Souza, the Department made humble beginning with few students and a since grown into a single largest Department with 685 students (B.Com- 400; B.B.M – 100; M.Com – 120) out of strength of 1000 in the College.
The department has spread its wings by introducing B.B.M in the year 2005 and M.Com in the year 2011.

MISSION : To develop employability & entrepreneurial skill among the commerce students

Commerce dept is one of the biggest dept in the College. The increase in the strength of the students indicates the success and efficiency of the Dept.

Special lectures, Industrial visits, Management and Commerce fest, Personality development, Yoga, English communication skills, workshops, seminars, group discussions etc. are regularly conducted to suit the changing needs of the society.

It is heartening to note that most of the commerce students are getting selected in Campus Recruitment drives owing to unique teaching, learning and Evaluation under taken by the Department.
